Regenerative Therapies

We specialize in regenerative injection therapies that stimulate your own body to heal itself rather than mask the pain. Dextrose prolotherapy and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) are two such techniques that we offer that can repair injured ligaments, tendons, and joints and therefore provide lasting pain relief.

Specialty-Trained Doctors

All our providers are specialty-trained medical doctors and members of the Canadian Association of Orthopaedic Medicine (CAOM), dedicated to collaboration, education, and clinical research in the field of regenerative orthopaedic pain medicine.

Image-Guided Injections

All our providers use ultrasound machines to allow for real-time direct visualization during our injections. This provides the highest level of treatment precision and avoids any unnecessary radiation exposure common with other imaging modalities.

Our staff will contact you to arrange a consultation in clinic with one of our physicians. A complete examination will be performed and personalized treatment plan will be developed.

Treatment

We will work with your schedule to start treatment usually within 1-2 weeks of consultation, and may include additional investigations or involvement of allied healthcare providers.

Reassessment

Throughout treatment your response to therapy will be assessed to ensure we achieve expected clinical benefit. We may recommend modification of visit frequency or treatment modality, as necessary.

Pain is NOT a normal part of aging

Too often we hear patients express that they just accepted pain to be a normal part of the aging process. While it is true that we can expect injuries to occur more often as we age, we disagree with the concept that this should be the accepted norm.

Request a consultation and let us help you get back to the activities that you enjoy.
